Community Statutes/Property Modifications & Extensions
La Torre has a set of community statutes that we would advise all owners to be aware of. The attached document has details of all the community statutes, including those forbidding the fixing of satellite dishes to any of the properties at the resort.
As we now have a long term contract with Polaris Telecom, to provide TV services, we would ask all owners who have fitted satellite dishes to their properties to remove them, as our administrators are authorised to take legal action through the Spanish courts to enforce the statutes.
I am sure all owners would agree that the resort will look considerably better without the proliferation of satellite dishes.
The statutes also contain rules regarding the glazing of patios and balconies and I would ask that all owners adhere to these. If you are planning any alterations to your property, including the installation of a swimming pool, please use the 'Contact Admiburgos - general enquiry' section of the latorreinfo website to inform the Community of your plans. We will then ensure that the plans you have are permissible under the statutes, and we will inform owners if they need to seek planning permission from the local Town Hall. Any alterations that are carried out incorrectly and without permission from the Community and, if applicable from the Town Hall, may need to be altered or removed altogether. The link below is for the 'Contact Us' section of the website.
Please note that you require a licence from the Town Hall to fit glass curtains or even to flag your driveway. If in doubt - check first.
