The Health Department has set a campaign in motion to avoid the proliferation of mosquitoes in the Region of Murcia, with the aim of reducing the discomfort that they cause to people and the transmission of diseases, minimising the uncomfortable and harmful effects that these mosquitoes may cause for residents or visitors to our resort.
WITH YOUR HELP WE CAN FIGHT THEM
Avoid containers that might collect water, such as buckets or jerry cans.
Remove water accumulating in objects or empty it on a weekly basis: vases, ashtrays, flowerpot dishes, plastic pools, troughs, tyres...
Tightly cover over water tanks with a lid or mosquito net.
Maintain chlorine levels in your tank, pond or pool.
Put ornamental fish in your pond or garden fountain, as they eat the larvae.
Regularly clean roof and terrace gutters.
Do not cause puddles to form when you spill water or irrigate.
