May 2011 - Continuation of the ID Wristbands Scheme for the swimming pools and the tennis courts.
The new pool guards will be commencing patrolling the swimming pools in early June enforcing the pool rules and community wrist band scheme. For this season we will be using the existing green bands that were distributed in 2009/2010. At this years AGM it was agreed to change the colour of the bands for 2011 (further information regarding the exchange of bands for 2012 will be made on the website later in the year)
The existing bands must therefore be worn when using the swimming pools or the tennis courts at the resort.
Security will be carrying out checks throughout the summer period.
Most owners should have been allocated their 6 free wristbands last year which can be used by anyone staying at or visiting the property. However, if any owners did not receive these please go to the Tower Office on Monday to Thursday from 10am to 12 and you will be given the bands.
Photo ID will be required when they are collected (i.e. passport, driving licence). For renters, a copy of the rental agreement or an e-mail from the owner will be required, along with the ID of the main renter. Keyholders may also collect the wristbands on behalf of their owners, with an e-mail from the owner giving permission, and quoting their full name, plot number and the name of the person collecting the bands on their behalf. Photo ID will again be required from the key-holder.
Bands that have been damaged can be replaced free of charge if the original bands are returned. If bands have been lost then replacement bands will be available from the office of Amiburgos only on the industrial estate by the resort.
At the AGM the community presidents voted to levy a fee for lost bands to stop the bands from being sold to non-owners. The charge for each replacement band will be 25€. The monies collected will be used to offset the costs of the purchase of the bands.
Additional temporary wristbands for visitors or renters will be available from Admiburgos office only, but will require a deposit and a fee per band to be paid. The deposit will be returned once the bands are returned in a useable condition. A maximum of 4 temporary wristbands per plot will be issued at any one time. These will be available for a maximum of two weeks at a time and if not returned by the due date the deposit will be kept by the community. As with the above owner’s bands, photo ID will be required for these bands and they can only be collected by the owner of a property at the resort or their representative i.e. a keyholder with the appropriate permission. Long term renters will need permission as above from the owner.
The cost of any temporary extra wristbands will be as follows:
20€ deposit – This will be refunded if the bands are returned in a useable condition.
Plus Non-refundable deposits of:
5€ per wristband for a 3 day period.
10€ per wristband for one week
15€ per wristband for two weeks.
All payments will be by cash only. Admiburgos will not accept credit cards for these temporary bands.
Wristbands for owners who have not collected their original bands will be available from the Tower Office during the following times:
Monday to Thursday - 10am to 12.
Replacement bands that have been lost and the temporary guest bands will need to be collected from Admiburgos office and will not be available at the tower.
Admiburgos office hours are as follows:
Monday to Friday - 9.30 am to 2pm
and
Thursday - 4pm – 7pm.
Their office is on the industrial estate off the service road by the resort's main entrance.
