La Torre Golf Resort sits on the Murcian coastal plain, 20 minutes from the beautiful, shallow inland sea – the Mar Menor and Murcia airport at San Javier.

Much has happened since the last update. Electricity was restored to the sub-communities, within the estimated time span. The clean-up has commenced.
The cleaning of Garages has started, Phase 9 should be able to use their garage again by weekend as it was the one least damaged. The others will take a few more days.
Lifts may not be in operation for several more weeks as parts may need to be replaced. If there are owners who have mobility issues, they should make it known to Admiburgos so that their lift can be put on priority.
Pool 9 pump house has had equipment removed and the pools emptied and cleaned.
Abadejo is now virtually clear of mud and STV are cleaning the surrounding areas.
The Rambla area itself is a muddy and unsightly mess, but works on the areas will start as soon as new plans are approved. Talks have already started between Torre Pacheco, IRM and specialists in Rambla construction.
All in All, on the surface, the Resort no longer has the look of devastation it had two weeks ago. A lot of people have worked very hard to get to where we are now and our thanks must be extended to them.
Of those owners whose property was damaged by water, we extend our continued support and help to ensure that they can return to enjoying their property again.
Although there are currently no terrains at La Torre, pétanque is available opposite La Torre front entrance across the C3319 at Los Molinos. A group has been set up named PaLM - Petanque at Los Molinos.
We have heard that some Lloyd's customer details were lost during the transfer to Sabadell. This has resulted in some ex-Lloyds customers needing to take their passports into their Spanish branch of Sabadell to re-verify their details. We have been told re-verification has to be undertaken IN PERSON before September 30th 2014. After this date, accounts with no verified details will become frozen.
You are advised to contact your branch to determine the situation with your account as soon as possible,
The following important letter has been prepared for all owners and renters.
Everyone at La Torre is asked to read this.
Staying at La Torre. We hope you find the attached documents useful.
To dispose of larger items, such as televisions, fridges etc, you need to take them to the Eco-Parque, which is approximately 2.5km from the back gate.
Garden waste cannot be taken to be Eco-Parque but can be left for collection in the skip provided at the rear of the communications building on Denton (shown on the resort map with a green recycling symbol - the map also shows recycling points for paper card and glass with a yellow recycling symbol).
Please do not leave items on the pavements near bins, not only is it unsightly, it may result in the Community being fined by STV/Torre Pacheco Council
